Austin Musselman approached Windham Designs to create the brand identity and website for his fishing charter company, Old No. 7 Fishing. As a descendant of George Garvin Brown—a family member and shareholder of Brown-Forman—Austin sought to connect the new venture with Brown-Forman’s most iconic global brand, Jack Daniel’s.
Solution
With Brown-Forman’s approval, the boat was christened Old No. 7, and a cohesive suite of brand assets was developed to reinforce this connection.
We designed the website to highlight Old No. 7’s achievements and the exotic destinations served, from South Florida to the Bahamas and San Salvador. The site architecture supports a wealth of content, informing clients about fish species, destinations, and fishing techniques.
Photography was made central to the website experience, capturing the excitement, energy, and unique opportunities aboard Old No. 7. We developed an interactive photo gallery, enabling visitors to search and filter images by fish species, fishing methods, or locations. Integrated map locators and detailed captions provide viewers with the complete fishing story behind each adventure.
