Lara MacGregor, a resilient cancer survivor and advocate, sought the ideal logo to capture the spirit of her organization, Hope Scarves. This inspiring nonprofit raises funds for metastatic breast cancer research and offers hope and support to women facing cancer. Lara’s journey began when, during an early chemotherapy treatment, a fellow survivor shared both her uplifting story and a cherished good-luck scarf. That gesture of encouragement gave Lara the strength to persevere through her first battle with cancer—an experience that became the foundation for Hope Scarves.
Solution
To embody this spirit, we designed a logo featuring the universal cancer ribbon, rendered in bright, uplifting colors that reflect both the scarves and the warmth, hope, and unity shared by the Hope Scarves community. Through this network of love and support, women find renewed strength and share in each other’s determination to face cancer head-on. Witnessing Lara’s ongoing battle—with her unwavering positivity and zest for life—is truly inspiring. She has built an extraordinary organization that empowers others to do the same.
